Getting Ready for Your First Visit

To help your visit go smoothly, just bring your insurance card and photo ID—and, if possible, fill out the new patient forms ahead of time from our website. We encourage you to call your insurance and verify your own benefits so there are no surprises. Co-pays and any required payments are due at your appointment. Good news: most visits are done in under an hour and you receive needed care on your very first day.

What to Expect

You’ll check in at the front desk with Alice, then meet Dr. Johnstone, who personally greets you and brings you to the private adjustment area (no being adjusted in front of a crowd here!). He’ll ask about your main concern, do a focused exam, and take any needed X-rays—reviewing the results with you right away. Dr. Johnstone will explain exactly what’s going on, outline a short care plan, and provide your first gentle adjustment before you leave.

Payments & Insurance Info

We keep things easy and transparent. Our team accepts Regence, Premera, Aetna, Cigna, First Choice, Blue Cross, and Blue Shield. You’re welcome to pay by cash, debit, or credit card—just note, as of May 16, there’s a 4% processing fee for all card payments. To avoid the fee, bring cash. Sorry, no checks accepted.

Do I need a referral?

No referral is needed to schedule an appointment. You can simply call and book your first visit with us. We want to make it as easy and stress-free as possible for you to begin care.

Do you take auto accident or worker’s comp cases?

We accept Personal Injury Protection (PIP) auto claims. However, we do not accept LNI/worker’s comp cases. If you have questions, call our office and we’re happy to clarify your options.
