Your first visit is the perfect time for you to bring up any concerns or symptoms. Dr. Johnstone will walk you through an initial examination for any low grade injuries or even move towards an extended exam for severe injuries, explaining each of the steps along the way.
It’s understandable if you are a bit nervous when you first come to receive chiropractic care, but we want you to be as relaxed and comfortable as possible. Because of this, we are more than ready to dispel fears and clear up the unknown: Dr. Johnstone loves teaching his patients about spine care and explaining how every little thing is connected to each other — so just ask him any of the questions that may come to mind during this time!
After you decide if you want to move forward with treatment for personal injury, rehabilitative care or preventative care, Dr. Johnstone will demonstrate different techniques on a plastic model to show you the low-force ways our office uses to assess and realign the positioning of spinal segments.
